On December 16, 2025, Disney World revealed that its popular Water Park Seasonal Pass is back for the 2025-2026 season, giving guests unlimited access to both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach through May 9, 2026 (with just one blackout period from March 28 to April 5). The pass costs $89 for adults and $83 for children ages 3 to 9, according to WDW Magic.
Here’s why this is a no-brainer for anyone who loves the water parks: a single-day water park ticket costs $74 for adults and $68 for children. That means you only need to visit twice to make the seasonal pass pay for itself.
What’s New This Year
But the real story here is what Disney added for 2025-2026. For the first time, the Water Park Seasonal Pass comes with two exclusive perks that make the deal even better.
First, passholders can score 20% off cabana rentals at both water parks. At Blizzard Beach, this applies to the Polar Patios cabanas, while Typhoon Lagoon passholders get the discount on Beachcomber Shacks. The catch? It’s a walk-up deal only, so you’ll need to inquire when you arrive at the park.
Second, and this is where it gets interesting, passholders get one complimentary round of mini golf. You can redeem this before 4 p.m. on any date during the pass usage window at either Winter Summerland Miniature Golf or Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf. It’s a small addition, but it’s the kind of value-add that makes the pass feel more like a water parks and recreation pass.
What You Need to Know Before Buying
The pass is valid at both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, but you should know that the parks don’t operate simultaneously year-round. Typhoon Lagoon is currently the only water park open, but it will close on February 14, 2026. Blizzard Beach will then reopen on February 15 while Typhoon Lagoon undergoes routine maintenance.
Also worth noting: the parks sometimes close for cold weather. In fact, Typhoon Lagoon has already closed temporarily this month due to chilly temperatures in Central Florida. It’s a normal occurrence during the winter months, so don’t be surprised if you show up on a particularly cold day and find the gates closed.
