Disney Just Brought Back Its Water Park Seasonal Pass—And It’s Only $89 for Unlimited Visits

If you’ve been waiting for a budget-friendly way to hit Disney’s water parks all season long, your patience just paid off.

According to WDW Magic, Disney World has officially brought back its Water Park Seasonal Pass, and it’s priced at just $89 plus tax for adults. That’s barely more than the cost of a single-day water park ticket—except this pass gets you unlimited visits to both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach through May 9, 2026.

What You Get for $89

The Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass is valid from now until May 9, 2026, with one small exception: there are blockout dates from March 28 to April 5, 2026 during peak spring break crowds. Outside of that week, you can visit Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach as many times as you want.

For adults, the pass costs $89 plus tax. For younger guests ages 3 to 9, it’s $83 plus tax. To put that in perspective, a single-day water park ticket currently costs $74 for adults and $68 for children. So if you’re planning even two visits between now and May, this pass basically pays for itself—and every visit after that is essentially free.

Two New Perks Make This Even Better

Disney didn’t just bring the pass back at the same price—they actually added two new benefits that weren’t part of previous versions.

First, passholders now get 20% off same-day cabana rentals at either water park, based on availability. The catch is you have to book the cabana in person at the water park the day of your visit—you can’t reserve it in advance. But if you’re someone who enjoys a home base at the water parks with shade, storage, and a bit of privacy, that discount can add up quickly. Cabanas typically run several hundred dollars for the day, so 20% off is nothing to sneeze at.

Second, the pass includes one round of mini-golf for the season. You can redeem this at either Winter Summerland Miniature Golf or Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf, and it must be used before 4:00 PM. It’s a small perk, sure, but it’s essentially a free activity that wouldn’t have been included before.

When the Water Parks Are Open

Here’s the important part: Disney’s two water parks don’t operate simultaneously year-round. They rotate closures for routine maintenance.

Right now, Typhoon Lagoon is the only Disney water park open. It will remain open until February 14, 2026, when it closes for its annual refurbishment. Then, Blizzard Beach will reopen on February 15, 2026, while Typhoon Lagoon undergoes maintenance.

So if you’re buying this pass now, you’ll be visiting Typhoon Lagoon through mid-February, then switching over to Blizzard Beach from mid-February through early May. That rotation is pretty standard for Disney water parks—it allows them to keep one park open at all times while the other gets necessary maintenance and updates.

Who Should Buy This Pass?

This pass makes sense for a few different groups of people.

If you’re a Florida resident or Annual Passholder who visits Disney World regularly, $89 for unlimited water park access from December through May is a no-brainer. Even just going once a month from now until May would give you six visits—far more value than paying per day.

If you’re planning a week-long Disney vacation and want to add a couple of water park days, the math works in your favor. Two single-day tickets would cost $148 for an adult, versus $89 for this pass. You save $59 and get the flexibility to visit on multiple days if you want.

And if you’re visiting during the spring and know you’ll want to escape the Florida heat with some water park time, this pass gives you that option without worrying about the per-day cost adding up.

The only people who probably shouldn’t buy this are those planning a single water park visit. In that case, just buy a single-day ticket and save a few bucks. But for anyone planning two or more visits between now and May, this pass is the better deal.

How to Purchase

You can buy the Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass online through Disney World’s website, in person at the parks, or by calling 407-934-7639.

One thing to keep in mind: this pass is only valid through May 9, 2026. If you’re planning summer water park visits, you’ll need to either buy day tickets or purchase a different ticket option like the Water Park and Sports Option add-on for annual passes.

Why Disney Brought It Back

Disney discontinued the Water Park Seasonal Pass for a while, and its return suggests the company sees value in offering more affordable, season-specific ticket options. It’s a smart move—water parks don’t drive the same attendance as the main theme parks, and giving guests an easy, low-cost way to visit multiple times encourages repeat visits during what would otherwise be slower periods.

From Disney’s perspective, getting guests into the water parks means more spending on food, drinks, merchandise, and upcharge experiences like cabanas. From a guest perspective, it means more opportunities to enjoy Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach without the mental math of “is this worth $74 today?”

It’s a win-win.

The Bottom Line

For $89, you’re getting unlimited access to Disney’s water parks for nearly six months, plus discounts on cabanas and a free round of mini-golf. If you’re planning even two water park visits between now and May, this pass pays for itself.

And if you’re someone who loves the water parks but hesitates to pay full price every time, this is your chance to go as often as you want without thinking twice. Whether you’re floating down Castaway Creek, riding the slides at Blizzard Beach, or braving the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon, you’ll have all winter and spring to make the most of it.

Just remember those March 28–April 5 blockout dates, and plan accordingly. Otherwise, you’ve got unlimited splash time ahead.
