If you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder, you just got some excellent news. Disney quietly added three more “Good to Go Days” for late January 2026—and that means even more freedom to visit the parks without dealing with theme park reservations.
According to WDW Magic, Disney World announced that January 26, 28, and 29 are now officially Good to Go Days. This brings the total number of reservation-free days in January to 10—a significant boost for passholders looking for more spontaneous park visits.
What Are Good to Go Days?
For those unfamiliar with the program, Good to Go Days are select dates when Annual Passholders can visit any Walt Disney World theme park without needing to make a theme park reservation in advance. It’s essentially Disney’s way of giving passholders back some of the spontaneity that made Annual Passes so appealing in the first place.
Of course, there are a few caveats. Passholders are still subject to their pass blockout dates, and park capacity limitations still apply. But for most passholders on most days, these Good to Go Days mean you can wake up, check the weather, and decide to hit the parks—no planning required.
The Full January 2026 Schedule
Here’s the complete list of Good to Go Days for January:
- January 12, 13, 14
- January 19, 20, 21, 22
- January 26, 28, 29
You might notice January 27 is conspicuously absent from this list. We’re not sure why Disney skipped that particular Monday, but it’s worth noting if you were planning a multi-day trip.
What If You Already Made a Reservation?
If you already have a theme park reservation for one of these newly announced Good to Go Days, don’t panic. According to the announcement, your reservation will be automatically removed—but it will still appear in your My Disney Experience app without counting toward your reservation limits. So you won’t lose any reservation slots.
The 2:00 PM Window Still Exists
Even on days that aren’t designated as Good to Go Days, passholders can still visit theme parks without a reservation after 2:00 PM. The only exception is Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays, where you’ll still need a reservation regardless of the time.
Why This Matters
Disney’s theme park reservation system has been a point of contention since it was introduced during the pandemic reopening. While Disney has gradually relaxed the requirements—especially for hotel guests and date-based ticket holders—Annual Passholders have continued to deal with the reservation system more than any other guest type.
These Good to Go Days represent a step in the right direction, offering passholders more flexibility and making those Annual Passes feel more valuable. With 10 reservation-free days in January alone, it’s a welcome change for locals and frequent visitors who want to take advantage of cooler weather and post-holiday crowds.
If you’re a passholder, mark January 26, 28, and 29 on your calendar. And if you’re planning any spontaneous Disney trips this month, you now have three more days to do it without the hassle of checking park availability and making reservations.
