Universal Is Discounting Epic Universe for Passholders—While Still Keeping It Out of the Pass

If you hold a Universal Orlando Annual or Seasonal Pass, here’s the headline: you can now buy discounted, dated one-day tickets to Epic Universe through Universal’s official ticket calendar, and the select-date pricing has gotten genuinely cheap. According to prices currently listed on Universal Orlando’s Annual Passholder ticket calendar, some late-summer and early-fall dates have dipped to roughly $94 before tax, with a cluster of other dates landing between about $98 and $107—a steep drop from the $148 to $156 that dominated large stretches of the summer calendar.

The mechanics: passholders get the standard 15% discount off general-public Epic Universe pricing, and Universal has layered promotional savings reaching up to 40% off on select dates. You can buy up to six discounted tickets in a single transaction, each ticket is a dated one-day admission, and the tickets are non-transferable and tied to an eligible pass that must be activated in person before you buy online.

Now the gut punch. Epic Universe opened on May 22, 2025, and more than a year later it is still not included in any Universal annual pass. Your Annual Pass gets you unlimited visits to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure—but Epic Universe requires a separate, dated ticket every single time, discount or not. Universal has not issued a press release restructuring its passes; this is a pricing move on the ticket calendar, not a new access tier.

Walt Disney World Adds Two More No-Reservation “Good to Go” Days for September

While Universal was tweaking ticket prices, Walt Disney World gave its own passholders a small gift: two additional Good to Go Days. According to Walt Disney World’s official Annual Passholder Good to Go Day calendar in My Disney Experience, Tuesday, September 8 and Thursday, September 10, 2026 are now reservation-free days—meaning passholders can walk into any of the four theme parks without holding a park reservation first.

That brings September’s total to four confirmed Good to Go Days, joining the September 2 and September 3 dates announced earlier. All four passholder tiers qualify. And if you already had a park reservation on September 8 or 10, you don’t need to lift a finger: Disney says it will automatically remove those reservations, though they may still linger in your My Plans view—and importantly, they won’t count against the number of reservations you’re allowed to hold.

The timing is not an accident. September is historically one of Walt Disney World’s lowest-attendance stretches of the year, and Good to Go Days are how Disney nudges local passholders through the turnstiles when crowds are thin. Another Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Date Just Sold Out

Halloween demand at Magic Kingdom is running hot. As of September 9, another September date for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has sold out, and availability on Disney’s official ticket site is thinning fast—the calendar is now down to just a couple of October nights with tickets still available.

Here’s the lay of the land, per Disney’s official event page. The 2026 party runs on select nights from August 7 through October 31 at Magic Kingdom, with ticket prices spanning $119 to $229 plus tax for guests ages 10 and up (the priciest nights are the late-October weekends). A party ticket lets you into Magic Kingdom as early as 4 p.m., with the event itself running 7 p.m. to midnight.

The marquee new addition this year is “A Masquerade with Stitch,” a stage show at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland starring Stitch, Lilo, and Angel—after Stitch gets into Lilo’s costume trunk, each accessory he tries on triggers a new theme swap. It joins the returning Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks.
