If the last two days felt quiet on the big-announcement front, the fine print is where the action is. Between September 15 and 16, 2026, the most consequential Disney news wasn’t a new ride—it was a wave of hard dates hitting sale: Walt Disney World’s full 2027 Disney After Hours calendar is now bookable, Disneyland’s logo is officially riding on Anaheim Ducks helmets for the 2026-27 season, and EPCOT locked in the return of its cult-favorite September 21 celebration aboard Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Disney After Hours 2027: 56 Low-Crowd Nights, and the Best Ones Sell Out First

Walt Disney World has released the complete 2027 Disney After Hours schedule across three parks, and the headline number is big: 56 total event nights. According to the official Disney Parks Blog post “2027 Disney After Hours Planning Tips and Dates for the Perfect Night,” Magic Kingdom gets 19 dates (January 11 through July 19, 2027), Disney’s Hollywood Studios gets 22 dates (January 16 through August 25, 2027), and EPCOT gets 15 dates (January 21 through August 19, 2027).

These are the separately-ticketed, capacity-capped nights we keep recommending to anyone who hates standing in lines. On our own After Hours nights we’ve walked onto headliner attractions after 10 p.m. with barely a wait—that’s the entire pitch. Your ticket lets you enter the park as early as 7:00 p.m., even though the event itself starts at 9:30 p.m. (10:00 p.m. at Magic Kingdom), so an EPCOT ticket effectively buys five and a half hours in the park.

Timing matters. Guests at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green could already buy tickets starting September 10, 2026; everyone else’s window opens September 22, 2026. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members save $30 per ticket at the EPCOT and Hollywood Studios events. Popular Saturday dates and holiday-week nights historically sell through, so the general-public on-sale is the date to circle.

Disneyland’s Logo Is Now Riding on Anaheim Ducks Helmets

Over in Anaheim, Disney deepened a hometown partnership in a very visible way. According to the Anaheim Ducks’ official announcement on September 10, 2026, the Disneyland Resort logo will appear on both sides of every player’s helmet throughout the 2026-27 NHL season—regular season, Stanley Cup Playoffs, and team practices.

“The Anaheim Ducks are more than a hometown team, they are woven into the fabric of our community,” Disneyland Resort President Jill Estorino said in the team’s release. Ducks Club President Aaron Teats added that the deal “celebrates our organization’s roots and the special bond we continue to share with Disney.” The agreement also folds in in-arena signage, social content, broadcast elements, and a presenting-sponsor home game. Disneyland has backed the Ducks for nearly a decade, and the new helmets debuted at the 2026 Rookie Faceoff on September 12-13 in San Jose. It’s a marketing move, not a park change—but for a resort whose name shares a city with an NHL franchise, putting that logo on national broadcasts is a quietly smart play.

EPCOT Brings Back Its September 21 Cosmic Rewind Tradition

Finally, the fun one—and the only item that broke squarely inside our window. On September 15, 2026, the Disney Parks Blog confirmed that on September 21, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT will play Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September” throughout the day aboard the attraction—a nod to the song’s “21st night of September” lyric. Every time we’ve ridden Cosmic Rewind, the soundtrack is the wildcard; for this one day, that surprise is replaced by the anthem, start to finish.

Disney is stacking extras around it: Star-Lord will meet guests (check My Disney Experience for times), Treasures of Xandar, the ride’s adjacent gift shop, will be open as usual, and Connections Café will pour a one-day-only Supernova Sip—spicy hot honey syrup, lemon juice, and edible glitter under orange cotton candy, with a Maker’s Mark version for adults. It’s a small, free-with-admission celebration, but it’s the kind of detail that makes a mid-September EPCOT day feel like an event.
