The biggest Disney parks story of the last 24 hours isn’t a new ride or a price hike, it’s the quiet end of a decade-old bargain-hunter tradition: Disneyland’s annual lost-and-found sale at Goodwill of Orange County is not returning in 2026. Instead of one blockbuster weekend event in Santa Ana, Disneyland’s unclaimed items and overstock merchandise will now trickle out year-round across Goodwill’s Orange County retail network. Disneyland’s Annual Lost & Found Sale Won’t Return in 2026

For roughly a decade, the annual sale at the Goodwill of Orange County Marketplace in Santa Ana, about 15 minutes from the Disneyland Resort, was a cult-favorite event where guests scooped up unclaimed hats, sunglasses, plush toys, sipper cups, ears headbands, and other odds and ends, some marked down as much as 90 percent off retail. Disneyland officials have confirmed the single annual event is discontinued.

The items aren’t disappearing, though; they’re being redistributed. Rather than one weekend blowout, lost-and-found and overstock merchandise will now be sold continuously across Goodwill of Orange County’s retail locations throughout the year. According to Goodwill of Orange County’s official statement on its partnership with the resort, “each year, Disneyland donates unclaimed lost and found items, from hats to strollers, for Goodwill OC to resell,” and “100% of the revenue from these sales goes directly into our 25+ workforce development programs.”

All-Star Sports Pool Bar Closes for Refurbishment Today

If you’re checking into a Walt Disney World value resort this fall, plan around the pool. Beginning today, September 18, 2026, the Grandstand Spirits Pool Bar at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort closes for refurbishment and stays down through mid-December 2026, roughly three months, with a temporary pool bar operating nearby in the interim. Disney has not announced whether the pool bars at the neighboring All-Star Music and All-Star Movies resorts will follow.

Disney World Adds Four More September “Good-to-Go” Passholder Dates

Walt Disney World has expanded its Annual Passholder “Good-to-Go” calendar again, adding September 23, 28, and 29, plus September 24, dates on which passholders can walk into the theme parks without first securing a park reservation. On Disney’s official Annual Passholder calendar in My Disney Experience, these no-reservation days are flagged with green circles.

This is the latest of several Good-to-Go additions Disney has made throughout September 2026, a sign it’s still fine-tuning capacity as it reads late-September demand.
