Disneyland Just Opened Bookings for Its Halloween Tour, and One Perk Alone Might Justify the $130

Disneyland put its 2026 Halloween season on the clock this week. On July 30, the resort opened online reservations for the returning Happiest Haunts Guided Tour at $130 per person, and the same day the after-hours Oogie Boogie Bash quietly sold out its ninth night before opening night has even happened. Disneyland opens Happiest Haunts Guided Tour bookings, and the Haunted Mansion perk stands out

Reservations for Disney’s Happiest Haunts Guided Tour opened July 30, according to Disneyland’s official tour listing and the resort’s Disneyland Press Room announcement of 2026 fall festivities. The two-hour guided walking experience returns August 21 and runs through the Halloween Time season, weaving through both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure with a guide sharing the parks’ Halloween lore.

The tour is priced at $130 per person plus tax, with Disney Visa Cardmembers eligible for 15% off when booking through a linked MyDisney account. Bookings can be made up to 60 days in advance on the Disneyland website or app, and Disney warns availability is limited.

The standout inclusion, in our experience, is Lightning Lane entry to Haunted Mansion Holiday — the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay whose standby line routinely tops an hour on fall weekends. When we’ve walked the Halloween Time midways in past seasons, that overlay was the single hardest attraction to get to without a long wait. The tour also bundles a reserved viewing area for the Halloween Screams nighttime spectacular, a commemorative tour key, and a themed Dirt Worm Crispie treat. For a guest who’d otherwise burn a Lightning Lane Multi Pass on the Mansion anyway, the math is closer than the sticker price suggests.

Oogie Boogie Bash hits its ninth sold-out night, and opening night is the smart target

The paid after-hours Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party returns to Disney California Adventure on select nights from August 18 through October 31, and demand is running ahead of the calendar. As of July 30, Sunday, September 13 sold out, becoming the ninth of the season’s nights to go fully booked. The list of gone dates now spans August 23; September 6, 13, and 24; and October 4, 11, 18, 25, and 31 — Halloween night itself, which topped out at $199 before selling through.

Per Disneyland’s official event details, remaining nights are priced across a $139 to $199 band depending on date, and opening night — Tuesday, August 18 — was still available at the time of the sell-out update. That makes the first night of the run the value play for anyone still deciding: lowest demand, full run of the party, and the debut of this year’s new entertainment.

That entertainment is itself a notable swap. A separate Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party, available for an added cost, includes preferred viewing for the new street party. With nine nights already gone and the season opener four weeks out, this is not a “book it at the gate” event.
