"Bluey's Best Day Ever!" Opens at Disneyland Tomorrow — Here's What to Expect

If you have Bluey fans in your household, this is the news they’ve been waiting for. Tomorrow — Sunday, March 22, 2026 — Disneyland Park officially debuts “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” at the Fantasyland Theatre, and it marks a genuine first: this is the first Bluey experience ever offered inside a Disney theme park.

According to the official Disneyland Resort press release, the Fantasyland Theatre has been transformed into the grounds of Bluey’s school, with a rotating lineup of live shows featuring Bluey and Bingo alongside a troupe of comedic performers and musicians. It’s a lot more than a stage show, though — the whole space has been turned into an interactive play environment designed to pull kids (and honestly, their parents) directly into the world of the series.

What’s Actually Happening Inside the Theatre

The centerpiece is the live performance itself, which runs multiple times daily in two rotating formats. Bluey and Bingo take the stage, joined by beloved characters including Chattermax, Unicorse, and a cast of Grannies. A five-piece live band — drums, guitar, trumpet, saxophone, and trombone — plays new musical arrangements of fan-favorite songs from the series. There’s also a surprise cavalcade element where larger-than-life inflatable versions of Bluey’s friends Jack, MacKenzie, Indy, Honey, and Rusty weave through the audience.

Outside the main performance, guests can participate in interactive play areas that bring the show’s iconic games to life. Expect Keepy Uppy with balloons tossed into the crowd, racing Barky Boats, a Gnome Village and Fairy Garden to explore, and a helicopter stump ride-along. Photo opportunities are scattered throughout, including Bluey’s family car and a school class photo setup.

The atmosphere the press describes sounds closer to a school fair than a traditional theatre experience — which is exactly right for the source material.

No Lightning Lane Required

One detail worth highlighting: no Lightning Lane or paid add-on is required to attend. The entire experience is included with standard park admission. For a new, high-demand experience at Disneyland, that’s a meaningful decision by Disney, and it means families don’t need to plan around reservation windows or upcharges to get in.

Expect this to draw crowds, particularly during spring break week — Disneyland sees peak spring break attendance March 21–29. Arriving early or checking show times in the app before heading over will help you plan around it without losing half your day.

Themed Food and Merchandise on Opening Day

Troubadour Tavern and select nearby locations will carry new Bluey-inspired food and beverage offerings, including a pizza girls baked potato and a mud cake cold brew, both inspired by the “Pizza Girls” episode. A kids’ meal combo is available for $5.99, along with a souvenir beverage sipper and popcorn bucket.

On the merchandise side, youth apparel, a collectible pin, and additional items will be available starting March 22 at Fantasyland Theatre Valet, with more merchandise arriving at World of Disney in Downtown Disney and Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventure shortly after.

Why This Is Worth Your Attention

Bluey has earned its cultural footprint. The series has consistently topped streaming charts, connected with parents in a way very few kids’ properties do, and built a genuinely multigenerational fanbase. Bringing that energy into a Disney park for the first time — with a production that goes well beyond a meet-and-greet — is a smart move.

It also signals that Disney is serious about the Bluey partnership beyond one-off appearances. A Bluey experience is also coming to Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World in summer 2026, and the characters have been appearing on select Disney Cruise Line sailings. Tomorrow’s Disneyland debut is, in many ways, the first full look at what that investment actually looks like in a park setting.

If you’re at Disneyland this weekend or over spring break, this is one of the more genuinely new things the park has added in a while. For families with young kids, it could easily become the highlight of the day.
