Disney officially announced full ticketing details for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026, with prices ranging from $49 to $2,599 and sales starting March 31.

D23 Is Back — And the Ticket Prices Will Surprise You

Disney’s biggest fan event of the decade is almost here, and as of yesterday, you finally have everything you need to plan for it. On March 26, 2026, The Walt Disney Company officially announced full ticketing details for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, taking place August 14-16, 2026 in Anaheim, California. Tickets go on sale in a tiered window beginning March 31 — so if you’re a D23 Gold Member, your window opens in just a few days.

This is the full picture of what’s available, what it costs, and what you actually get.

When and Where

The event returns to Anaheim after a two-year gap, running across both the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center from August 14 through 16. Pre-event festivities begin as early as August 8, with city-wide programming running through the opening weekend.

Notable pre-event highlights include a Walt Disney Archives exhibition opening on August 8, D23 Night at the Anaheim Packing District on August 11, and D23 Night at Angel Stadium on August 12 — the first 23,000 attendees at the Angel Stadium event receive themed bobbleheads.

Ticket Tiers and Pricing

Disney is offering several entry options, and the range is wider than you might expect.

The entry-level D23 Fan Pass covers access to the Anaheim Convention Center only. A single-day pass runs $99. A three-day pass is $297. There’s also an afternoon-only option at $49 if you want a lower commitment. These tiers get you the show floor, panels, and convention center programming — but not the Honda Center showcases.

The D23 Ultimate Fan Pass adds access to the Honda Center, where the major studio showcases take place. Pricing for these starts at $99 for a single day and $297 for three days — similar entry points, but with both venues included.

At the top of the stack is the D23 Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass, priced from $1,299 to $2,599 depending on seating location. This tier includes three days of Honda Center floor seating, three days of convention center access, and exclusive access to a Random Selection Process for limited-edition pins.

Note: all tickets carry an $11.25 service fee, and each transaction is subject to a $16 delivery fee.

The Sale Schedule

This is the part you need to pay attention to if you want the best shot at tickets.

  • March 31 at 10 a.m. PT — Exclusive 24-hour window for D23 Gold Charter Members only
  • April 2 at 10 a.m. PT — Priority access for Essential, Choice, and Complete plan D23 Gold Members
  • April 2 at 12 p.m. PT — All other D23 Gold Members join the queue

Each Gold Member can purchase for themselves plus up to five guests, for a maximum of six tickets per member.

If you’re a Disney+ subscriber, there’s an upgrade offer worth noting: those on the D23 Gold Monthly plan can upgrade to a paid annual plan at 20% off to qualify for the priority purchase windows.

What’s Happening Inside

The programming schedule is ambitious. The main stage at the Honda Center will host the Disney Entertainment Showcase on Friday, the Disney Experiences Showcase on Saturday, and the Disney Legends Award Ceremony on Sunday. These are the presentations where Disney typically makes major announcements across film, TV, parks, and experiences — the Experiences Showcase in particular is historically where parks fans get the biggest news.

On the show floor, Disney is promising 50-plus panels and presentations, along with specific activations tied to Bluey, Camp Rock 3, and The Simpsons. There’s an immersive Mundo Pixar walk-through preview, the D23 Mousequerade costume contest, a Walt Disney Archives: Uncrated exhibition, a Disney Lorcana Championship Qualifier, and a documentary premiere from filmmaker Leslie Iwerks.

For those entering sweepstakes, the prizes this year include an inaugural voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Believe, a National Geographic safari to Kenya, and red-carpet premiere access for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday.

What This Means for Parks Fans

If you follow Disney parks news closely, D23 is the event to watch. The Disney Experiences Showcase on Saturday, August 15 is typically where Disney announces new attractions, resort updates, and long-range expansion plans. Past D23 expos have produced some of the biggest parks announcements in recent memory.

Given the current construction pace across Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and the international parks, we’d expect this year’s Experiences Showcase to be one of the more significant ones in years. If you have the flexibility to be in Anaheim that weekend, this is worth serious consideration.

Tickets go on sale for Charter Members on March 31. For everyone else, April 2 is the date to have on your calendar.
