TODAY Is Your Last Chance to See Minnie’s Halloween Dine Before Disney Makes the Holiday Switch
If you’re headed to Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, you’ll want to know about a major seasonal shift happening at one of the park’s most popular character dining spots. Hollywood & Vine is making its annual transformation from spooky to merry—and it’s happening right now.
According to Mickey Visit’s coverage of November changes at Disney World, today (November 5) marks the final day guests can experience Minnie’s Halloween Dine at Hollywood & Vine. Tomorrow, November 6, the restaurant flips the script entirely, launching Minnie’s Holiday Dine for the 2025 season.
The Overnight Transformation
This isn’t just a menu swap—it’s a complete seasonal makeover. Tonight, after the last Halloween Dine guests depart, Disney’s overnight crew will transform the entire restaurant. Out go the Halloween decorations, spooky character costumes, and autumn-themed touches. In come the Christmas trees, twinkling lights, garland, and all the holiday magic you’d expect from a Disney celebration.
The character lineup stays the same—Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Pluto will still be greeting guests—but they’ll be trading their Halloween costumes for festive holiday attire. Minnie swaps her witch hat for holiday elegance, Mickey hangs up his vampire cape, Goofy ditches the spooky cowboy look, and Pluto gets a new seasonal collar.
Why This Matters for Your Planning
Here’s what makes this transition particularly significant: Hollywood & Vine recently expanded Minnie’s Seasonal Dining to all meal periods. Starting October 12, the restaurant ended its Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine breakfast and now features Minnie and friends at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
That means no matter when you visit during your Hollywood Studios day, you can experience the holiday magic with these beloved characters. Previously, you’d need to plan around specific meal times to catch the seasonal dining experience.
What to Expect From Holiday Dine
Minnie’s Holiday Dine runs from November 6, 2025 through January 4, 2026, giving you a solid two-month window to experience it. The restaurant gets decked out in full Christmas regalia—think classic red and gold holiday decor that transforms the Hollywood-themed venue into a festive celebration space.
The experience features buffet-style dining with American comfort food favorites, and of course, character interactions throughout your meal. Each character visits your table for photos, autographs, and those magical moments that make Disney character dining special.
Current pricing:
Breakfast: $49 per adult, $33 per child (ages 3-9) Lunch and Dinner: $64 per adult, $44 per child (ages 3-9) Tax and gratuity not included
Book Now if You’re Visiting Soon
Character dining at Disney World books up quickly, especially during the holiday season. If you’re planning a December visit or want to ring in the New Year at Hollywood Studios, we recommend making your reservation as soon as possible. Holiday Dine reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance (or 60 days plus the length of your stay if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel).
The fact that this experience is now available all day gives you more flexibility, but that also means competition for prime dining times has increased. Breakfast tends to be easier to snag than lunch or dinner slots.
The Bottom Line
We love that Disney creates these seasonal dining experiences—it gives repeat visitors a reason to book the same restaurant multiple times throughout the year. The overnight transformation Disney pulls off between Halloween and Holiday Dine is impressive, and the attention to detail in the costumes, decorations, and overall atmosphere makes it feel like a completely different experience.
If you missed Halloween Dine this year, mark your calendar for August 2026 when it returns. And if you’re visiting Hollywood Studios between now and early January, Holiday Dine offers a festive way to meet some of Disney’s most iconic characters while enjoying a solid meal in a beautifully decorated setting.
Just remember: reservations are your friend, especially during the holiday rush.
