Universal Pulled the Curtain on Halloween Horror Nights 35 — and the Lineup Rumors Are Wild

Halloween Horror Nights 35 brings the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares to Universal Studios Florida across 48 event nights this fall. Here is everything officially confirmed, plus the fan speculation that has the community buzzing.

Universal Pulled the Curtain on Halloween Horror Nights 35 — and the Lineup Rumors Are Wild

Universal Orlando has officially unveiled the shape of this year’s Halloween Horror Nights, and it is shaping up to be the most ambitious edition the event has ever attempted. Halloween Horror Nights 35 runs 48 select nights from August 28 through November 1, 2026, at Universal Studios Florida — the longest run in the event’s history.

The theme is the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares, and for the first time ever, two of HHN’s most iconic original characters will share the spotlight as co-ringmasters.

Jack and Oddfellow, Together at Last

For years, Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow have existed in their own separate corners of HHN lore — each serving as the event’s icon in different years, each with a devoted following. This year, Universal is putting them on the same stage.

The first officially confirmed haunted house is Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control, which Universal describes as a journey into “the unsettling origins of the two adversaries’ undying rivalry.” The premise is that guests walk into a twisted Oddverse where both characters are battling for dominance, and you are caught in the middle.

It is a bold creative decision. Pairing two legacy icons means Universal is betting that long-time HHN fans will respond to the crossover, while newcomers get an introduction to characters who have defined the event’s identity for decades.

Ten Houses, Nine Still Under Wraps

Universal has confirmed that HHN 35 will feature 10 haunted houses total, but Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control is the only one officially announced so far. The remaining nine houses are expected to roll out over the coming months in the lead-up to the event.

That has not stopped the speculation machine.

Fresh fan-created speculation maps from Horror Night Nightmares, one of the most well-connected HHN fan communities, surfaced in early May with a rumored lineup that includes Stranger Things, Hellraiser: Cenobite Legacy, Evil Dead Burn, an Ozzy Osbourne-themed house, and a legacy house called H.R. Bloodengutz Presents 35 Years of Horror. None of these are confirmed, but Horror Night Nightmares has a strong track record, and several of the rumored IPs align with clues Universal has already dropped — including what appears to be an upside-down grandfather clock (Stranger Things) and a pincushion motif (Hellraiser’s Pinhead).

If even half of those rumors land, this could be one of the most IP-stacked lineups in HHN history.

New Ways to Experience the Event

Universal is introducing a Scream Early Add-On this year, which allows guests to access at least three haunted houses starting at 2:00 p.m. on event nights — hours before the event officially begins. For anyone who has ever stared down a 90-minute house wait at 10 p.m. on a Saturday in October, this is a meaningful addition.

Premium Scream Night also expands to two dates this year: August 27 and October 19. These are the lower-capacity nights with shorter waits and all-you-care-to-enjoy dining, and they tend to sell out fast.

Standard single-night tickets start at $88 per person. Vacation packages that bundle multi-night hotel stays with multi-day tickets are available with savings up to $200.

What This Means for Your Fall Plans

HHN 35 is clearly Universal Orlando’s marquee fall event, and with 48 event nights stretching from late August through November 1, there is more scheduling flexibility than ever. That said, October weekends will sell out, and the new Scream Early option is likely to be popular from the start.

If you are planning an Orlando trip this fall, the smart move is to lock in tickets sooner rather than later — especially if you want a Premium Scream Night date. The full house lineup should be revealed over the summer, and based on what the fan community is piecing together, it is going to be worth the wait.
